How to request a quote
Tell us what you're renting and when. A standard porta potty rental for a construction crew needs different math than an event restroom rental for 200 guests. We ask for your project type, the number of workers or attendees, how many days or weeks you need the equipment, and your site address in Gary. If you're renting a roll-off dumpster, let us know what you're throwing away and roughly how much. For septic pumping service, tell us whether it's a residential tank or a commercial system. Upload a photo of your site if you want. We use that information to confirm delivery access and calculate the right holding tank size. Under OSHA 1926.51(c)(1), construction sites need 1 toilet facility for every 20 workers or fewer, so we'll confirm you have enough capacity for your crew.
Quotes include delivery, setup, and the rental unit itself. Service fees and any permit requirements are listed separately so you see what's actually going to your site. Most quotes go out the same business day. If your project is urgent, call us directly and we'll fast-track it. Gary Porta Pros serves Gary, Hobart 8.5 miles southeast, Merrillville 10.8 miles south, Portage 12.5 miles east and Schererville 13.3 miles southwest.
What to include in your quote request
Your location in Gary matters. We need 60 feet of straight clearance behind a roll-off truck to set down a dumpster safely, so photos help. For restroom trailers or large equipment, confirm there's a level spot 12 feet wide and at least 40 feet long. If you're setting up an ADA accessible porta potty, per ADA Standards section 213.2, at least 5 percent of units in a cluster must meet accessibility rules, and we'll make sure that's built in. Tell us the exact dates: start date, end date, and whether weekends are included. Rental rates change between daily, weekend, weekly and monthly terms. Tell us how many people will use the facility. A deluxe flushable porta potty serves a different crowd than a standard unit. If you've rented from us before, mention your account number so we can pull your history and move faster.

Pricing and payment
Once we send your quote, you'll see the unit cost, delivery fee, and service fee broken out separately. Most quotes are valid for 7 days. If you need the equipment sooner or have questions about the numbers, reply to your quote email or call. We accept credit card, check and ACH transfer. A 50 percent deposit holds your reservation. The balance is due before delivery. If you cancel more than 7 days before your start date, we refund your deposit minus the quote research fee. If you cancel inside 7 days, the deposit applies to a future rental or you forfeit it. Weekend deliveries and after-hours setups cost more. Emergency disaster relief sanitation requests go to the front of the line.
How quickly do you send quotes?
Most quotes arrive inside 24 hours during business days. Emergency requests and straightforward rentals go out the same day. If we need clarification on your site access, we'll email you with questions.
Do you quote work outside Gary?
Yes. We service Hobart, Merrillville, Portage, Calumet City, and Schererville. Delivery fees increase with distance. Call us if your location is outside these areas.
Is there a quote research fee?
No. Quotes are free. You pay only if you book the rental.
What if my project changes after I get a quote?
Call us right away. If your dates shift, your crew size changes, or you need a storage container added to your order, we'll adjust the quote and send you an updated total.
Can I book online or by phone?
Both. Fill out the quote form on this page or call during business hours. Phone quotes are faster if you have all your project details ready.
